Netflix has a list of ten films in the data showing that similarly scary/horrifying that their users can’t actually make it all the way through them. The criteria was that Netflix users made it at least 70% of the way through the movie, but turned it off en masse before finishing it.
They are using the 70% threshold, because when people truly hate a movie, they’ll turn it off well before that. So if you want a horror movie experience to truly test your mettle, it appears these films are what you’re looking for.
